This year’s installment of Doody’s Digital Workshop, in a streamlined one-day format, takes place on Thursday, June 20, at the Hyatt Rosemont, minutes from O’Hare Airport. This year’s theme is Thriving in the Medical Information Ecosystem.

Highlights of the program include:

  • An opening keynote from Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe, Professor/Coordinator for Information Literacy Services and Instruction in the University Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, who will highlight recent research into how practitioners really access information.
  • A panel discussion focusing on developing and delivering content for optimal impact, including revenue growth.
  • A DDW favorite, small-group exercises with case studies that will challenge attendees to devise creative solutions to make their content discoverable.
  • My own closing capstone talk, wearing my publishing industry veteran hat, in which I’ll forecast how professional societies will continue to thrive in the changing healthcare environment.

As always, registration is limited to just 50 participants, so you’ll want to act now and take advantage of special Early Bird rates.
